PREVIOUS WORK / CREACIONES ANTERIORES

From now on I will change my line of work, and that's why I have started this blog, as a mirror for myself in the journey. 

Of course, I hope anyone will find interesting what I do and read me. I will make efforts in order to explain what I do, the process, the problems, the solutions, etc... so If you want to give a try to pottery you know what you are facing. If not so, at least this blog will be a public display of my work for anyone interested in my finished pieces. I hope very soon I will have an integrated shop right here, but you can contact me anytime leaving a comment with your mail and I will respond by mail.

Right now I'm waiting my little kiln to arrive. I hope this will be a breakthrough in my creative process, because until now I had to take my pieces to another workshop for firing them. Having my own kiln will allow me to look into some different lines of work, such as the jewelry made of ceramics.

For the time being I have been doing mainly household unique pieces such as plates, bowls, and I have become specialized in teapots, cups and mugs. I will show you the results of my new line of work, but before I want to show you some of my previous creations.

Como ceramista, voy a comenzar una nueva etapa creativa, con una nueva línea de trabajo, y es por eso que justo he decidido comenzar este blog, como espejo que me acompañe en el camino.

Por supuesto, espero que alguien más encuentre interesante lo que hago y me lea. Haré esfuerzos para explicar lo que hago, el proceso, los problemas, las soluciones, etc... así que si quieres darle una oportunidad a la cerámica aquí podrás ver un poco a qué te enfrentas. Y si no es así, al menos este blog será un despliegue público de mi trabajo para cualquiera que pueda estar interesado. Espero poder tener una tienda integrada aquí mismo dentro de poco, pero podéis contactar conmigo simplemente dejando un comentario en cualquier entrada con vuestro correo electrónico y os responderé por correo.

En estos momentos estoy esperando la llegada de mi nuevo pequeño horno. Espero que este hecho marcará un antes y un después en mi proceso creativo, puesto que hasta el momento he tenido que transportar las piezas a otros talleres para sus cocciones. Tener mi propio horno me permitirá investigar nuevas líneas de trabajo, como la joyería hecha de cerámica esmaltada.

Hasta el momento he hecho fundamentalmente artículos (piezas únicas) de menaje como platos, cuencos, etc. y me he especializado en juegos de té, teteras y tazas. Os enseñaré pronto los resultados de mis nuevas líneas de trabajo, pero antes quiero enseñaros algunas de mis creaciones previas.
